Trive Capital's Canopy Aerospace & Defense Acquires Aviotec, Extending Value Creation Across the Satellite Supply Chain

Canopy Aerospace & Defense (“Canopy A&D”), a portfolio company of Trive Capital, today announced the acquisition of Aviotec S.r.l. (“Aviotec”), a Turin, Italy-based supplier of multi-layer insulation (MLI) blankets and electrical harnesses for satellites and spacecraft, with in-house design, analysis, manufacturing, and integration capabilities serving institutional and commercial space programs across Europe.

The acquisition is being completed through Canopy International B.V. (“Canopy International”), Canopy A&D’s EU-based platform overseeing all European operations and strategic growth initiatives. Based in Amsterdam and coordinating teams across the wider region, Canopy International provides local leadership, regulatory and customer interface, and design, development, and integration support, aligning investment, engineering resources, and supply-chain capabilities with the needs of institutional and commercial space programs in Europe.

Canopy A&D continues its significant growth into a vertically integrated platform for critical aerospace and defense materials and manufacturing.
